Hmm, an Opel Caravan parked in the middle of the woods. Nice rusty textures.
Then the trails turned wet. Really wet. And muddy. They were pretty much rideable, but meant slow going and a some pushing. I think my tuna sandwich looked somewhat muddy too.
Sending a shipment of roots, this ok?
Required some hike a bike and small scale climbing activities. Also found a “giants kettle” rock formation, which was pretty cool.
What are these photos about?
Ok bad idea. Noticed a ski trail on the map and thought it would be a good idea to ride that, since it went roughly into the correct direction. After 4 kilometers of endless mud I realized I was in the middle of a swamp and the whole mattress was sinking under my feet. Had to quickly backtrack and then figure out a way through it, since backtracking the entire muddy hell did not appeal. Lesson learned: ski trails work better in the winter!
Finally managed to push the bike out of the mire and rode a few hours back home with soaked feet. Found some pretty nice trails too. Thanks for watching!
